Christopher Gishler and Ellen Thomas moved to the Yukon in 2000, each having 15 years of experience working in the camping industry.

    Christopher's background includes working for the Canadian Outward Bound Wilderness School and teaching adventure education on high ropes courses and climbing walls that he has built all around North America.

    Ellen's background is closely tied to the residential camping and Outdoor Education industry of Ontario and British Columbia. She has worked year round at Outdoor Centres as the Program Director, Waterfront Director and Leadership Training Director.

    Since arriving in the Yukon, Christopher and Ellen have been working towards their dream of starting their own Camp & Outdoor Centre. They have put together a top-notch leadership training program for youth groups and staff teams and have built the Yukon's only outdoor climbing wall at world-famous Takhini Hot Springs.

    All of the staff who make up the Adventure Rox Day Camp Staff Team have many years of experience working with children in outdoor adventure programs. All staff have current First Aid and CPR certification and have completed our staff training.
