Every Thursday 9:30am - 6pm.
For those looking for a day adventure into the Yukon backcountry, our friendly and well
trained guides can provide you
with a unique perspective of the area's spectacular cliffs and canyons. All equipment, as well
as thoughtful instruction and lots of encouragement is provided.
Lunch and transportation is also included (35 minutes from Whitehorse).
The guide to client ratio 2:8, Moderate 20min hike to canyon, Sturdy footwear,
long-sleeved shirt & pants required, Activities include instruction, climbing, rappelling,
canyoning, natural history & tall tales, optional side trip to Takhini Hot Springs.

Midnight Sun Climb & Zipline Tour at Takhini Hot Springs
Every Friday evening from May through September.
The tour begins approximately one hour before sunset. Participants are geared up, briefed
on safety procedures and then climb the wall to the 14' x 14' deck on top of the climbing tower.
From this vantage point there is a 50km view of the Whitehorse and Takhini Valleys. Hot drinks,
snacks, interpretive and tall tales are provided while the setting sun shines yellow, orange
and crimson in the Western sky. Because of the Earth's tilt, sunsets in the north last
30 minutes to an hour. At mid-summer the twilight lasts until sunrise. Once the show is over
we exit the tower via the 1,000-foot-long zipline.
Transportation is available through Tom's
Tours (633-4786). The Hot Springs are available for a dip before or after the tour.
