Job Description

As an Adventure Guide, you will lead and inspire groups of participants through outdoor activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Our main activity is ice climbing at Mt. Sima. Starting position duties include helping groups gear up and campfire maintenance. As your training and experience allows you will be responsible for managing ropes and coaching ice climbing.

Your role will involve educating guests about the environment, promoting teamwork, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will leverage your leadership skills to create memorable adventures while effectively communicating with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead (or support) our ice climbing program at Mt. Sima.
• Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
• Educate guests about local flora, fauna, and environmental conservation practices.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with participants to provide instructions and guidance throughout activities.
• Manage group dynamics to foster teamwork and enhance the overall experience.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and concerns promptly.
• Utilize time management skills to ensure that activities run on schedule while allowing flexibility for participant needs.
• Engage in public speaking to share knowledge and enthusiasm about adventure activities with groups of varying sizes.
